Our studio was located in a former post office. The building is run down, and it was rented out to artists. The building is huge and if you walk through it you will come across a lot of technical manuals and equipment. But what is this equipment, how do you operate it, what is it used for, and is it still intact? The more we read in the documents and manuals, the more unclear it becomes what it means.
By working with these found documents, manuals and our own poetic visual language, we examine two extreme forms of communication and bring them together. On the one hand, the technology that’s incomprehensible to us. On the other hand, the expression of art which is perhaps just as incomprehensible to many.
